Yesterday, June 24th - My 3 friends and I went out with both Captain Mike's - we took off from Bass River - Mike was on time ready to go - boat looked like he bought it two hours ago - in PERFECT condition - comfortable setting for my friends and I. We first started going out looking for some action, following some bird while we waiting for the tide to turn. On this boat they are willing to show you how to fish - they aren't one of those fishing groups that won't let you look at the GPS - Mike is willing to show you how its all done. Fishing was hit or miss in the beginning - however Mike continued to work and work and work until he found the fish. Most boats would have tried a spot or two and brought us back in - Mike was willing to totally switch it up and drive 30 extra minutes up the coast because he heard there was a bite - and HOLY COW he was right - as soon as we got there Mike knew just were to go - before we knew it three rods were peeling line - right in front of 10 boats who couldn't catch a thing!!! - the rest of the day was awesome - light tackle, high end gear and lures - felt like I was in an episode of ON THE WATER - we filled the boat with great size bass - everyone left with a mountain of meat - best fishing experience I have ever had - they have a great boat, a great sense on how to find fish and most of all the attitude of the captains was superior - great guys who love what they are doing and love to see happy customers no matter what it takes!!!
